Gillian’s design for this house , has created a fantastic flow from the minute you open the front door through to the garden beyond. The light created within , is extremely special yet it feels warm and welcoming. The beautiful, almost unexpected  choices of materials and features showcase Gillians talent for designing into spaces and creating stunning results  . The finished project is an inspiring yet comfortable family home that is a delight to spend time in .

Gillian was a pleasure to work with and brought a wealth of experience to bring our mutual design ideas to life.  She used her skills and experience to deliver a fantastic renovation of a Victorian house on time and within budget. Without her planning,design and project management skills we would not have the interiors magazine worthy house we now love to live in !

De Vesci Tennis Club is a small tennis club set in the attractive tree scaped park of De Vesci Gardens.  Visitors to the club always comment on and praise the look and design of our Clubhouse.  Gillian transformed what was previously a basic, functionary structure into an attractive, light-filled space in perfect keeping of its surroundings and heritage.  Gillian managed the whole project from start to finish and bought it in on time and within budget.  It is now a space fully enjoyed by all its members and visitors from other clubs.

I had seen evidence of Gillian’s work where Gillian transformed the club house at De Vesci Lawn Tennis Club in Monkstown.This was done in part through lottery funding where Gillian played a key role in the application process. I knew immediately I had a can do person with aesthetically pleasing design ideas. Gillian also knew of  competent builders which is crucial when deciding to commit to a new project. 

I bought a shop and had it converted to a beautiful home & after witnessing Gillian’s work, I knew she was key to making the dream happen. Gillian dealt with planning permission which although far from being a certainty was granted. The project took circa six months to complete and was completed before the anticipated deadline. I was happy to let Gillian run the show as I love her practical ideas, colours & clever use of space .

I was inspired in having an interior architect who is passionate & committed about bringing her vision to  fruition. End result I have a beautiful home by the sea which I treasure.

Gillian made our meagre budget stretch further than our architect friends believed was possible. Working with a structural engineer and successfully obtaining planning permission she made our extension take shape and crucially it fits with our period house. She knew what to spend money on and what to leave to another time. The project was done on budget and on time.
